How to get your band on True Music w/ Katie Daryl

True Music w/ Katie Daryl shoots a majority of its footage in Los Angeles and Dallas. If you have a show coming up in either of those cities drop us a note at least a month in advance. Send email with your band's website/MySpace link as well as your tour dates in LA/Dallas to truemusic@hd.net.

Do you have High Definition footage of your band you would like see air on True Music w/ Katie Daryl? Then here's the scoop: you gotta be sure the footage is, in fact, true HD. Which means: It was shot on an HD camera, not that you shot it on a regular camera and then "upconverted" the footage to an HD tape. Please remember that your HD footage must also be edited in HD. Now, if your footage was shot on FILM then, yes, you can transfer it to HD.

The next important thing is that you have clean audio. If you are sending us a live performance we need the live multi-track of the audio, recording with the front camera mic is a "No-No" because it sounds like "Yuck-Yuck". If you are sending us an HD music video, then the audio should be mixed on the tape.

Nothing will air until we review the footage and then we will contact you to finalize everything.
